Haeydn Barlow is a senior at Lake Stevens High School who uses she/her pronouns. In her free time, she enjoys baking and reading, finding both to be relaxing escapes from her busy school life. Though she doesn’t have any immediate plans after graduation, she is, however, looking forward to moving out and getting her own apartment as a first step towards gaining her own independence. At school, Haedyn is an active member of the Friends of the Viking club, a fun and welcoming space where she enjoys helping with events and connecting with others. She finds high school to be a stressful but important experience, one that helps students adapt, grow, and prepare for the responsibilities of adult life. Haeyn believes that school equips us with the tools we need to live independently and function in the world as capable, contributing individuals.
