Madison Tandiama (she/her) attends Lake Stevens High School and is a senior. She joined journalism because she was told that she would enjoy taking part in the school's newspaper. Madi enjoys drawing, anime, and horror films among other things. Her ultimate career is to be a firefighter, and she intends to pursue her fire science degree at ECC. Her boyfriend and parents are the people who motivate her to try her best and improve herself.

It’s back! After three years, Aquafest will be opening at the end of July to give the community some fun again. Since the 1960s, Aquafest has been a three-day celebration in Downtown Lake Stevens and North Cove Park. “I look forward to going on the rides because its my favorite part. Along with seeing all my friends,” senior Addison Wolfe stated.
