Melanie Delestrez is a senior in the graduating year of 2022. She wants to contribute more to girls’ sports surrounding the news area, so she can put a new perspective on all of her peers. She is planning to major in journalism and sports broadcasting at Gonzaga University to work for ESPN, or a local sports broadcasting company. She currently plays for the varsity girls basketball team. She was very excited for her first game after COVID started letting up. She is expecting to have a more challenging year than her last.
