Rose Duke is a staff member at The Valhalla. She joined Journalism as a means to learn more about alternative writing styles, but also as an outlet for her interest in web design. Yes, Rose works on the Viking newspaper website. It’s Rose’s first year in Journalism. It’s a different approach to a STEM career path, but it’s a very creative way to gain experience. Rose has taken a unique path to gain experience for her career, hopefully, someday she will be able to work at NASA like she wants to.
