Madison Tandiama (she/her) attends Lake Stevens High School and is a senior. She joined journalism because she was told that she would enjoy taking part in the school’s newspaper. Madi enjoys drawing, anime, and horror films among other things. Her ultimate career is to be a firefighter, and she intends to pursue her fire science degree at ECC. Her boyfriend and parents are the people who motivate her to try her best and improve herself.

It’s back! After three years, Aquafest will be opening at the end of July to give the community some fun again. Since the 1960s, Aquafest has been a three-day celebration in Downtown Lake Stevens and North Cove Park. “I look forward to going on the rides because it's my favorite part. Along with seeing all my friends,” senior Addison Wolfe stated.

Love is in the air: Valentine's Day raises the hopes of many individuals all around the world. The creation of this holiday allowed people to honor their loved ones. “You should be thankful for the people who give you the opportunity to love each other instead of it being just this like sappy giving cards and gifts and chocolates to each other,” teacher Marcus Merrifield said.
