The Vikings Football Team will play their first playoff game of the season this Friday. They will compete against the Tahoma Bears at the Lake Stevens High School stadium. Admission is $5 with ASB and $7 without.

The Tahoma Bears’ record of 7-2 will bring some harder competition to the field.

“They’re pretty good, but I think we should be able to beat them,” senior Corbin Schueler said.

The Vikings are working hard to prepare for their first playoff game.

“We’re watching lots of film, putting in some new plays and schemes on defense, trying to confuse them,” said Schueler.

Playoff games bring a new level of pressure and excitement for the players as well as the super fans.

“It’s fun to know that the games you’re playing matter. It’s one your done. Your season is on the line. You win you move on, you lose your out,” said Scheuler.

It’s clear the Vikings are committed to make this first playoff game a success. Come support the Vikings on October 6 when they face the Tahoma Bears.
