Undefeated and still conquering the charts is the Lake Stevens Vikings Girls Swim team. At last week’s meet, and Game of the Week, the girls more than doubled the score of Cascade High School’s swim team at 137 to 48.

Throughout the season the Lady Vikings have been pushing themselves to the limit trying to reach goals and qualify for placement in districts and even state.

“The girls are sort of finalizing everything they need to do technique wise as they go into the championship season,” Coach Sarah Summers said.

With only two meets left the girls are excited for what is to come, and plan to go into districts and state championships with positive attitudes.

“Everybody starts to get really excited. There are still girls competing for spots but everyone is still really nice to each other and really supportive of each other,” senior Parker Reid said.
