A certain life: Throughout the US, a number African Americans are getting harassed by cops and getting killed by them. The death of George Floyd in Minnesota sparked people to demand change. To show support, people around are protesting against police brutality and showing love and support to African Americans and the Black Lives Matter Movement. A peaceful protest for Black Lives Matter was held in Lake Stevens on June 4 and a number of students helped organize this successful event. “Change for my boys’ life as they grow up is all I want. I want equality for them, no violence just a good life where I know my boys are safe,” Stacey Morris, mother of two who was also present last night in Lake Stevens at the peaceful protest for BLM.
