Ryan Sobosky is a LSHS junior who finds joy in making other people’s day. Sobosky has held the doors open in the 100 building every day from seven to seven-thirty to lift moods. “I felt like I needed to brighten up people’s day, make everyone feel better about their day. I just want to make people happy” said Sobosky.

The Staples storefront sits fairly empty as their closing date approaches. Lake Stevens students haven’t been very upset over Staples leaving but are hopeful for a newer and more youth-oriented store to to replace it. “Something we don’t have that we could use. Not another Starbucks because we already have three of those. Just something useful,” said sophomore Logan Philpott.
