Making music the Viking way: Junior Oliver Bashour plays live at Real Art Tacoma with his band. The bands passionate performance captured the audiences attention as Oliver and his guitar set the vibe of the show. “Im a guitarist in a band called Long Distance Operator, we play alternative rock, with a lot of 90’s influence, but we try not to put labels on our music...We have played live shows at different locations such as Real Art Tacoma in Tacoma, Skylight Cafe in Seattle, Mirkwood Public House in Arlington, Tony V’s Garage in Everett and are currently looking for more locations,” junior Oliver Bashour said.

Express yourself! Junior Mikayla Finnerty’s unique way of expressing herself is basing her outfits on the jewelry she wears. Finnerty found this expression when her mom bought her a gold ring last year. “My style changes every day, and I try to step out of my comfort zone as much as I can, but I will always have my jewelry on.
