Time's Arrow Marches Forward: Graduating Class of 2020 prepare their caps and gowns in preparation for the oncoming day in the spotlight as they get their diplomas and graduate. With everything going on and the stress of school making students want to shut down and give up, graduation day is a light at the end of the tunnel keeping students going. “I worked my whole life towards getting my diploma, wearing that gown, and knowing I made it. I already started the race, I am going to finish it,” senior Caleb Young said.

I moved out of my dad's house and am now living with my friend, working at a new job and living the life I have now.

People are suffering in many ways, some that people don’t even see. What about children in abusive homes who aren’t able to leave? What about K-12 grade students who depend on school meals that don’t have easy access to them anymore? What about people who live alone and are struggling to keep themselves busy? What about single parents who now can’t work and are struggling to support their children now and going forward? Many are suffering in many different ways. If there’s one thing everyone can agree on, it’s that we are all ready for this pandemic to subside.

Wearing a face mask out in public is just one step towards saving lives, but  a very important one. My mom made fabric face masks for me and my friends that I am living with and we wear them out whenever we need something from the store. As soon as we get home, we sanitize, throw the masks in the wash, and then sanitize again. I hope that by wearing our masks we are making a difference in moving towards the end of quarantine.
