People are suffering in many ways, some that people don’t even see. What about children in abusive homes who aren’t able to leave? What about K-12 grade students who depend on school meals that don’t have easy access to them anymore? What about people who live alone and are struggling to keep themselves busy? What about single parents who now can’t work and are struggling to support their children now and going forward? Many are suffering in many different ways. If there’s one thing everyone can agree on, it’s that we are all ready for this pandemic to subside.

Teddy Bears Galore! This new trend is a fun way the community encourages kids. Any person can join in on the fun too! Just put a teddy bear in your window. On your next walk, see how many you can find in people’s windows! It’s a fun way the community can unite and have fun even in hard times.

Vote! Seniors get their chance in 2020 as they turn 18 to make an impression on the presidential election. Many argue that their single vote doesn’t matter. Written in The New York Times, “In the 2008 presidential election,” “The average voter had just one chance in 60 million of deciding the race. This argument is based on a highly questionable assumption: that there’s no reason for me to vote if doing so won’t decide the election.” Each vote makes a difference, even if that difference is small.

Students express themselves in many different ways. One that stands out the most in our school is the decorative artwork made by students to keep the beauty of LSHS during construction. It’s a unique way that expresses the creativity of students here.
