Maggie Bakken

Maggie Bakken, Opinion Editor

Sophomore, Maggie Bakken has come back to Lake Stevens this year! She’s lived here previously but left in elementary school and has been moving and forth between Stanwood and Marysville before coming back here. Maggie joined journalism because in the future she wants to become a novelist, but for now she is our newspaper’s opinion editor and can’t wait, “I’m looking forward to making a mark and getting known in the school and just getting to be a part of something,” said Maggie. Outside of school Maggie is training to play volleyball next year, she also likes to read fiction books, write, and absolutely loves Harry Potter. Maggie can’t wait for this year’s paper and being able to learn new skills that will help her prepare for her future career in writing.
