Bailey Hall, Opinion Editor

Bailey Hall is involved in LSHS. She commits herself to ASB, other school activities, and her various advanced classes. In addition, Hall will partake in journalism this year, making The Valhalla an additional dedication.

“I want to make sure the Opinion Section is as good as I can make it, and that people enjoy reading The Valhalla, ” Hall said.

Though school follows Hall home, she takes up the chance to explore whenever possible.

“I just really have a passion for traveling and learning how others live life,” Hall said.

With Hall’s devotion the populace here at LSHS will remember her name.

“Leaving high school I just want to be remembered as a person who is nice to everyone and went out of my way to help others,” Hall said.

Lake Stevens juniors Skyler Bagher, Jordan Conner, Andrew Deebach, Aiden Pyle, and Ryan Sobosky receive an award for their website at 2016 VEX Worlds. The five juniors competed and took first place in the EMC Robotics Team Website Challenge in March 2016 , which forwarded them on to VEX Worlds, where they were recognized on April 22. “[The] 2016 VEX Worlds, presented by the Northrop Grumman Foundation, brings together top robotics teams in the VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition, and VEX U under one roof to celebrate their accomplishments and participate with the best teams from around the world. VEX Worlds will include top teams from events happening in cities around the world,” said Pyle.

Students are preparing for the upcoming Talent Show on Tuesday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC. A Talent Show panel screened the acts during an audition process. “Auditions were great. Theres a lot of talent here at Lake Stevens in other areas not just one spot. Im really happy that theyll have their time to shine too. We have 18 performers. Theres so much variety and so much talent that if you dont go, youre really missing out. Come listen, watch, and get entertained,” said Macabalo.

Senior Tyler VanBrocklin finds a way to fill up most of his spare time between school work, ASB and his jobs. Friends, peers and coworkers have raved about working with the ASB Secretary/Treasurer and how much effort he has put into everything hes done. “[Tyler is] very organized, he has everything figured out, and he always has a plan of what we’re going to be doing. He’s super nice to work with, super flexible with what we’re doing, and he’s always open for suggestions,” senior Cassidy Tipping said.
