Game of the week: October 6
Senior Madison Huesers controls the ball against Monroe and helps bring the Girls’ Soccer team to a 1-0 victory. Despite a rough start, the team managed to bring it together in the second half when Huesers scored the winning goal “We finally got to a place where we worked hard together and for each other till the end of the game. At halftime we talked through the first half and decided what we needed to change in the second half to win. In the end we didn’t play selfishly but for our teammates,” senior Ashley Perry said.
