Favorick moments: Campbell’s favorite thing about the show is Rick’s relationship with Morty. “You can tell that he cares for him in the smallest, subtle moments,” Campbell said. “But the rest of the time he treats him like he’s living poop.”

The “ABC’s of Beth”. “A Rickle in Time”. “The Rickshank Rickdemption”. Other than a potential copyright issue, what do these episode titles sound like?

If you said the popular television cartoon, Rick and Morty, you’d be “corrickt”.

Rick and Morty is by far a conventional show, originally a Back to The Future parody, that features Morty- an easily persuaded 14 year old boy who gets pulled along on adventures throughout space and time with his mad-scientist grandfather, Rick.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, Rick and Morty is hugely popular, seeing it has a 97% approval rating. The fan-base of nearly 3 million people also says quite a bit about the public opinion.

“It doesn’t follow any previous show outlines,” junior Jackson Campbell said. “Dad loves it, and watches it with me all the time.”

Campbell also said that nearly all of his friends watch the show as well.

“It’s one of the greatest shows of our century,” Campbell said.

On a similar note, senior Dakota Irby, who started watching the show a couple months ago, corroborates the idea that Rick and Morty has a huge target audience.

“It can be kids from 13 and up,” Irby said. “It can be people from 45 to 50, and they’ll still watch it.” Irby deems the show funny and classical, and enjoys that every episode is wildly different from the rest.
