Keep warm with music this winter

Schools from Lake Stevens School District put on concerts to show what they’ve learned and keep families entertained this holiday season.

Even though the weather is stormy, there are plenty of things to do that’ll keep you warm!

The weather outside might be frightful, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible to have a delightful time during the month of December. And what better way to get in a festive mood than with music? This month, there are a number of concerts being put on by Lake Stevens schools that would love your support and attendance. Check out all of these upcoming concerts coming up around town:

  • 30th Annual Dicken’s Fair: Dec. 3 at Cavelero Mid High
    • Choirs and bands from the community will be performing throughout the day. There are also over 150 vendors to shop from while enjoying the music!
    • Admission: Can of food or a monetary donation
  • Hillcrest 2nd and 3rd Grade Concert: Dec. 6 in the LSHS PAC
  • Highland 1st Grade Concert: Dec. 7 in the LSHS PAC
  • LSHS Band Concert: Dec. 8 in the LSHS PAC
  • Cavelero Band Concert: Dec. 13 at Cavelero Mid High
  • NLMS Choir Concert: Dec. 14
  • LSHS Choir Concert: Dec. 15 in the LSHS PAC
  • Glenwood 3rd Grade Concert: Dec. 19
