Football state sendoff: The entire football team prepares to get on the bus for the state championship game. Being the only state sendoffs that happened, everyone waited to see how it went. I think a send-off is a good idea, but the way that it was done in the timing that it was done, I think was off. I think that all groups should be celebrated - and not only football. I think everyone should get praise because theres a lot of stuff even I didnt know about, like Robotics and all that type all these clubs, DECA, and nationals, senior Gavin Quayle said.

Pumped up: The Boys Swim and Dive team excitedly yell the cheer they do before every meet. Swimmers created cheers for the divers that they chant after each dive. Things like, Honey, wheres my super suit? or...C-4. Hit! you sunk my battleship! for each diver makes it fun. I know the divers love hearing them, and the swimmers love making them up. Its fun to watch other schools react too. We have probably the most enthusiastic diver cheers in the area! Coach Brady Dykgraaf said.

Last Resort: The Lake Stevens School District settles on a base plan in case of another emergency shutdown. Students voiced their thoughts and opinions regarding changes they want to see. “I’ve noticed huge gaps this year in the skills students who worked well at home over the past two years and those who didn’t, so I’ve got one level of students that is right on track… and then another level of students who is very behind,” Kelly Guilfoil said.

My sister’s like college and stuff went online for a few weeks, so [going online] it’s not like out of the picture. I don’t think we would go full year, but I feel like temporarily would probably be pretty likely, junior Jake Loucado said.
