Cross country meet at LSHS

The LSHS boys cross country team starts the first and only home race of the season against Meadowdale, Snohomish, Monroe and Oak Harbor on October 1. Although it’s been disappointing to have only one meet on home turf the team has been excited for all the traveling. “Instead of home meets we’re having bigger meets against a lot of good schools. We get to go to Lakewood [and] Lake Sammamish and Whidbey Island and Wenatchee, which was awesome,” senior cross country captain Emma Horn said.

Seniors and families decorated tables with school colors, images and logos of their college, while wearing clothing that represented where theyll head to in the fall.
